In 2026, WPE & WHPE will return to Xi'an, China with a brand-new image, bringing together core strengths of the global natural extracts, health ingredients and functional food industries. WPE & WHPE 2026 will fully use Hall 1 and Hall 2 of Xi'an International Exhibition Center, with the exhibition area expanded to 40,000 square meters, reaching a record high in scale. More than 700 highly professional exhibitors from all over the world will jointly display the latest scientific research achievements, innovative formulas, cutting-edge technologies and future trends.

As one of the core activities of the exhibition, the International Precision Nutrition Forum (IPNF) was successfully held for the first time on September 17, 2025. Under the theme of "Customized Nutrition, Global Impact", the forum's topics covered various cutting-edge directions such as precise diagnosis, nutritional big data, AI intelligent nutrition intervention, traditional Chinese medicine nutrition system, innovative functional raw materials, and the development of dosage forms. The on-site audience responded enthusiastically.

As one of the important activities of the exhibition, The 2nd Fermented Food and Functional Food Forum was successfully held on September 18, 2025. Hosted by the China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries, the forum centered on "Functional Nutrition + Microbial Technology + Consumption Innovation", focusing on the cutting-edge applications and future trends of fermented food in the field of health and nutrition. Through dimensions such as sharing of industrial application cases, development trends of functional ingredients and standard evaluation methods, it demonstrated the huge potential of fermentation technology in the development of functional foods.
